Introduction:
At Koze Head Spa & More, we are committed to providing safe and high-quality permanent makeup services. This policy outlines the procedures, expectations, and important information regarding our Permanent Makeup Tattoo.
Consultation & Consent:
A mandatory consultation is required before any PMU procedure. During this consultation, we will discuss your desired results, assess your skin, and explain the procedure in detail.
A signed consent form is required before any permanent makeup tattoo procedure. This form will outline the risks, benefits, and aftercare instructions.
Please disclose any allergies, medical conditions, medications, or previous Permanent Makeup tattoo work during the consultation.
Eligibility:
Clients must be 18 years or older.
Permanent makeup tattoo is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, individuals with certain medical conditions such as blood thinners, etc., or those prone to keloids.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone deemed unsuitable for the procedure.
The Prep:
It’s time to share my secret recipe for amazing PMU results!
Before your permanent makeup appointment, knowing what NOT to do,
You will get much better results when you properly prep. It all starts with a good Preparation! The procedure area, including the eyebrows, lips, and eyeliner, must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive, and non-irritated. Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure.
Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before the procedure
Do not tan two weeks prior or have a sunburned face/skin
Do not have any facial 2 weeks before treatment
Do not work out the day of the procedure.
Do not have Botox 3 weeks prior
Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior (natural blood thinners)
Do not wax or tint your eyebrows 3 days before the procedure.
To avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:
Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo
Do not consume coffee or any caffeine before your procedure
Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief (this thins the blood)
*Gentle Lip Care: Do not use matte lipstick, only apply antibiotic ointment or clear lips balm , Gently exfoliate your lips with a lip scrub by combine brown sugar, extra virgin olive oil or baking soda and water mixture 1-3 days before the procedure, then moisturize
During the Procedure:
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.
Eat Before Your Session: Have a meal before your appointment to ensure you have energy throughout the procedure.
Skip Makeup: Don't wear makeup on the day of the procedure.
Procedure & Expectations:
Please arrive at your appointment with a clean, makeup-free face.
The procedure will involve the use of sterile, single-use needles and pigments.
Some discomfort or mild pain may be experienced during the procedure.
The results of PMU are not permanent and may fade over time.
Touch-up appointments are recommended to maintain the desired results.
Results vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.
Color boost appointments are recommended every 1-3 years.
Aftercare:
Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided after the procedure.
Avoid touching, rubbing, or picking at the treated area.
Keep the treated area clean and dry.
Avoid sun exposure, swimming, and sweating for a specified period.
Apply the recommended healing ointment as directed.
Do not apply makeup or other products to the treated area until fully healed.

Touch-Ups & Corrections:
A touch-up appointment is typically required 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure.
Corrections of previous permanent makeup work may require multiple sessions and additional fees.
We cannot guarantee the results of correction work on previous permanent makeup tattoos performed by another artist.
Allergies & Reactions:
While rare, allergic reactions can occur. If you experience any redness, swelling, or itching, contact us immediately.
A patch test can be performed before the procedure to assess potential allergic reactions.
Cancellations & Rescheduling:
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.
No-show appointments will be charged 50% of the service.
Payment:
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.
The remaining balance for your service is due at the time of your appointment.
Liability:
While we take every precaution to ensure your safety and satisfaction, we are not liable for any allergic reactions, infections, or other complications that may arise.
